Enhancing the stability and crystallinity of CsPbIBr2 through antisolvent engineering

Abstract All inorganic lead-based perovskites containing bromine-iodine alloys, such as CsPbIBr 2, have arisen one of the most attractive candidates for absorber layers in solar cells. That said, there remains a large gap when it comes to film and crystal quality between hybrid perovskites. In this work, antisolvent engineering is employed simple reproducible method improving 2 thin films. We found that both used conditions under which was applied measurable impact on stability final product. arrived at conclusion by characterising samples using scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, UV–visible photoluminescence measurements, well employing novel system quantify stability. Our findings, application our quantifying stability, demonstrate ability significantly enhance samples, produced via static one-step spin coating method, applying isopropanol 10 s after commencing programme. The quenched films improved crystallinity an extended lifespan.
